Mukilteo

Mukilteo is a hidden gem just about 25 miles north of Seattle. Legend has it that the name of the town itself comes from a Native American word meaning “good camping ground”. Those of us fortunate enough to call home couldn’t agree more, although our residences are considerably more sophisticated than tents these days. We have gorgeous views of the puget sound from just about everywhere in town, as well as views of the Cascade and Olympic mountains. . Ferries regularly take residents and visitors to Whidbey Island and Beyond to the breathtaking San Juan Islands. Those of us who like to get outdoors love the 20 miles of trails in Japanese Gulch, an 800 acre Park that’s also home to a dog park and mountain biking. Every summer lighthouse park host a 3 day celebration called the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival that attracts thousands for the food, art, entertainment and at night time fireworks. Because of the beautiful location, and the views that surround us, and the small town charm that remains here; Mukilteo has been called one of the best places to live in America several times. If you’d like to learn more about Mukilteo let us know! We’d love to show you around and help you find the perfect home.
